My Story

It all started in July 2015, with a Young Life missions trip to Costa Rica to help build a house for a missionary family. That trip had such an impact on my life that I considered returning, however in a greater volunteer capacity than simply a one week visit. In sharing my desire to return to Costa Rica, I learned of a Costa Rican ministry that is run by longtime friends of my father’s family. After much prayer, consideration, and communication back and forth, I have been accepted to participate in an internship program with La Montana Christian Camp. I would like to personally invite you to partner with me in serving the youth of Costa Rica.

I will become a support volunteer staff for the Camp this summer, which will include hosting a variety of other U.S. high school group teams that will be coming for 8-10 day trips for a serving mission experience as well. As an intern, I will serve as the liaison between the Costa Rican staff and the U.S. Church groups, as well be a part of some intense discipleship and leadership development through my time there for 2 ½ months.

I could not do what I am doing without God being a part of this process. I invite you to pray alongside me as I walk through the process of being used by Him in this capacity and also fundraising 100% of my financial support for this summer experience.
